Your own studio portrait

Your own studio portraits

You will need:

A camera

A box

Old curtaining or tablecloth

Cardboard for backdrop

Any items of clothing, accessories, shoes, hats or costumes that you can find – the “props”

Dress up! Become the character you dream of being.

Create a small set or studio backdrop. Include some props: what do you think would be appropriate?

Pose for each other. Take turns to take up a position that expresses who you want to be. Hold a prop if youlike.

Take the picture, and exhibit the photographs for each other. Discuss who you are in your fantasy. And why!
